Real-time Global Threat Map

Web | Enterprise Application| B2B | B2C| Research | Wireframes | Mockups | Interactions | UX Review

Showcasing our world-class internet protection network, I was asked to redesign a visualization of real-time global network attacks. By customizing and improving off-the-shelf components we rapidly prototyped and delivered a beautiful tool for visualization of global threats.

DDoS Protection Product

Web | Enterprise Application| B2B | B2C| Research | Wireframes | Mockups | Interactions | Personas | UX Review

Complex network security application with an emphasis on displaying product value to the user. This was a complete reimagining of the product from an obscure, highly complex and technical system interface to a more approachable, task oriented UI. This process involved user research, low and hi-fi prototyping and testing, IA research and testing, and final mockup production. When completed and deployed, it is estimated that time on site, perception of value, and customer retention will be significantly improved.

UX Process

Without process, we might as well be guessing. What does the user need and want? What does the business care about? And how can we streamline, simplify, and accelerate?

Tasker

From the mother of invention, Tasker solves a life problem for families, providing a shared task or chore list, with a twist. Task assigners can require photographic proof, message with the assignee, and offer completion goals.

Grace Church of Fredericksburg had a website, but it was hard to navigate, and mostly unused. By conducting research (user and market), we designed a site that meets the needs of the two primary audiences: Current members – who need info about what’s happening, and non-members – who need information about the church, contact info, and to learn more about the community.

DDoS – Data Viz Dark

Web | Wireframes | Mockups | Interactions | Personas | Information Architecture | Development

When research showed a need to demonstrate additional product value, we developed this design to showcase the relevant data we could pull in. Using existing functionality, an awareness of user needs, and comprehension of the capabilities of the existing charting tools, a design was crafted that could be easily deployed with very minimal front end changes.

Additionally, the design was produced exceptionally quickly to meet engineering requirements.
